The Family Tree is the resultant agency of the 1997 merger of two child abuse prevention agencies: Parents Anonymous of Maryland and The Child Abuse Prevention Center. JOB SUMMARY:

• This position is accountable for the day-to-day implementation of parent support, family engagement, and children's programming across Maryland.
• This position also serves as the Lead Coordinator and Technical Assistance provider for Maryland’s Chapter of the Circle of Parents® National.
• This work is defined by the parameters of Circle of Parents® National support group standards as well as the agency’s strategic plan.
• The work requires staff supervision and the development and maintenance of program sites and affiliations statewide.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences - Required
• Master's degree in behavioral sciences (Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, Human Services, Family Studies, and Education) preferred
• 3 years’ experience working in Human or Social Services.
• One year experience working directly with families or children community or in group settings.
• One year supervisory or administrative experience
• Knowledge of child development and parenting skills building.
• Fluent in Spanish
• Must work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Must be prepared to travel to various program sites, and various communities.

This position has a hiring range of $50 to $55K, based on experience.
