Support Independent Living Team Leader / Floater - The Arc of East Ascension

SIL TEAM LEADER Job description

The ideal candidate is a person who has worked as a DSP and is open to working in the Supported Independent program with clients who are living independently or sharing a home with another person with developmental and intellectual delays, physical disabilities and/or special needs.

This position is a supervisor position, and you will handle managing a caseload. The caseload will include people receiving support in the community and in their home.

The most eligible candidate must have the following:

1. Must have GED/HS DIPLOMA
2. Must have a clean background
3. Must pass a drug screening
4. Must have and keep clean driving record and valid driver's license
5. Must have writing skills
6. Must be able to use Microsoft programs (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc)
7. Must be able to work with others
8. Must have at least 3 years as a DSP/CNA. (Flexible)
9. Must be able to create work schedules for homes that may have 24-hour care
10. Must be able to work 2-10/ Overnight shifts , Must be willing to cover openings in assigned homes and/or program as asked

This is a full-time position, 40 hour position. Staff will have to complete onsite 16-hour training and supervisory training onsite with immediate supervisor.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $15.00 per hour
