About the Job
We are seeking a Supportive Services Advisor with experience in managing clients. The Advisor will provide housing and help individuals obtain and retain housing. Responsibilities include determining eligibility, developing plans, assessing financial fitness, and implementing programs.
Responsibilities:
Partner with clients, co-workers and county service staff to create individualized strategies that help achieve program goals
Screen potential participants for eligibility and complete program enrollment
Conduct assessments and develop housing plans in collaboration with participants
Issue and record vouchers for client support, rent, or deposits
Maintain regular contact with participants to ensure housing stability and compliance
Provide information and resources for clients to retain housing and achieve financial stability
Maintain client files, including case notes
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 AM
Skills:
Perform clerical functions as needed
Knowledge of human service programs is beneficial
A college degree is preferred in a related field but is not required
Qualifications:
Experience in assisting individuals with obtaining and retaining housing
Strong assessment and case management skills
Ability to network and collaborate with service providers
