Support Services Manager

CareStar, Inc. is currently seeking a Support Services Manager in the Administrative Services Department to plan and coordinate a broad range of administrative support services to help the organization operate efficiently and professionally.
THE POSITION
CareStar is looking for motivated individuals who/to:
- Manage Support Services Department, including, but not limited to, overseeing the workflow to ensure smooth operations within operational and program guidelines.
- Supervise Support Services Supervisors, who will have responsibility for Intake Operations, Single Entry Point (SEP), pre-certification, pre-authorization, Customer Service, scheduling, other office management duties, scanning operations and document destruction.
- Manage projects for the Company ensuring all tasks are completed thoroughly, accurately and on-time.
- Makes decisions for elevated situations or issues that arise and resolves them accordingly.
- Sets goals and deadlines for the department and holds employees accountable for successful adherence.
- Responsible for ensuring that all KPIs, metric and benchmarks are met per CareStar goals, standards and guidelines.
- Responsible for writing, updating, maintaining and communicating procedures to the team on an ongoing and consistent manner.
- Bachelor’s Degree is required. Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Business Administration or Healthcare Administration is preferred.
- Two (2) years related experience is required.
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of an organization, including executive level.
- Ability to coordinate scheduling and task allocation across large groups of employees.
- Demonstrates strong attention-to-detail and project management skills.
- Adheres to the CareStar Rule in the performance of job responsibilities.
- Understands and complies with CareStar Policies and Procedures.
- Maintains confidentiality as related to patient information. Any disclosures of confidential information made unlawfully outside the proper course of duty will be treated as a serious disciplinary offense.
- Follows the Acceptable Use Policy while using any information systems owned or controlled by CareStar, Inc.
