Function: Operations Job Summary: Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Superintendent to join our team. This position is accountable for the production, storage, and shipment of Nitric Acid, Urea, and UAN. Additionally, this position is accountable for load out of these products into rail and truck and Ammonia into rail. Job Description: Job Responsibilities: Responsible for implementation of various environmental, safety and health standards at AOP/Urea as required by Federal Government, State Government and CF industries. Oversees operation and maintenance of the AOP and UREA Plant to produce quality products as budgeted quantities demand. Oversee staffing, training, and management of the employees in the AOP and Urea area. This includes monitoring job performance, hiring decision, disciplinary actions, operating procedures, operator training and operator certification. Oversee shipment of finished products. This includes ensuring that adequate rail equipment is available for Ammonia, UAN, Urea, Nitric Acid. Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement safety and reliability improvement. Prepare and maintain production reports, budgets, and other documentation as required. Foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork among production staff, promoting adherence to safety protocols and best practices. Successful incumbents will have: B.S. Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or Verified Nitric Acid or Urea Production Management Experience. Twenty plus years of chemical, petrochemical plant experience required. Knowledge of Process Safety Management programs and ability to implement and monitor. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make quick decisions in fast-paced environments. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and documentation. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs.
