Overview:
Under the direction of the Casino Accounting Manager, the incumbent will provide direct supervision of the Casino Accounting Department and staff.
Responsibilities:- Responsible for auditing and reviewing the daily work performed by the Casino Accounting Representatives, in compliance with the J.A.C 13:69D regulations
- Prepares statistical reports required by regulation and for internal use.
- Supervises all activities in the Casino Accounting Department on a daily basis.
- Responsible for auditing, reviewing and recording of the company’s daily revenue from the casino floor and Slot Data System.
- Assures compliance to established departmental procedures and policies.
- Assures adherence to DGE regulations and procedures and the system of accounting and internal controls.
- Ensures all necessary paperwork is completed properly.
- Prepares daily journals and worksheets to record information to be used for monthly entries posted to general ledger.
- Solves problems which arise in the daily paperwork from the floor by dealing directly with the supervisory personnel in the various departments.
- Schedules work assignments to Casino Accounting Representatives on a weekly basis.
- Supervises all activities and training in the department.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Casino Accounting is required. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills a must.
- Knowledge of personal computers and computer systems including SDS preferred.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
- Must currently hold or be able to obtain a NJ Casino Employee Registration license through the NJ Division of Gaming Enforcement.
- Must be able to work Weekends
