Surety Associate Client Manager - IMA Financial Group

About the Job
What You'll Do
- Prepare bonds, consents, riders, applications, indemnity agreements, and correspondence
- Report bonds to surety companies
- Prepare invoices on new bonds, premium adjustments, and renewals as instructed
- Obtain bid results and reports to sureties
- Handle electronic filing, copying, delivery, and overnight packages
- Under moderate guidance, assist with gathering and maintaining client underwriting files
- Under moderate guidance, assist Surety Manager with various projects
- Interacts professionally and timely with clients and underwriters via email, phone, and in-person
- Perform functions of the role within an IMA office 100% of the time
- Support and demonstrate IMA's core values
- Value and understand the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associates
You Should Have
- Minimum 2 years of experience preparing and processing surety bonds
- Attain and maintain California Property and Casualty Insurance license, including all mandatory CE requirements
- Attain and maintain California Notary Commission
- Possess and maintain a current valid driver's license
- Detail oriented with strong priority management skills
- Strong communications skills for contact with clients and surety companies
- Experience with problem solving and ability to perform intermediate level mathematics
- Proficiency with MS Office products (Outlook, Word, and Excel), EPIC, and FoxIt preferred
- Limited local travel required
