Seeking experienced leader with strong background underwriting commercial surety bonds to drive development of underwriting strategy, provide leadership to underwriting team, and support upper management profitability and production goals. *** Grow and manage a profitable book of business aimed at meeting upper management profit goals and other targets. *** Develop relationships with customers, producers, agents, and reinsurers. *** Create, manage, and modify underwriting guidelines, coverage forms, and rates. *** Oversee recruitment and training to ensure staff underwriters stay within underwriting authority.
