Join our team as a Metal Plating Chemical Engineer and play a key role in ensuring the quality of electroplating processes. We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional with a chemistry background to help us maintain the highest standards for metal parts.
Responsibilities:
- Perform electroplating processes on metal parts, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.
- Monitor and manage plating solutions, chemicals, and materials.
- Conduct tests and inspections to ensure coating quality.
- Keep detailed records of plating processes and solutions.
- Collaborate with suppliers to improve processes and troubleshoot issues.
- Advise on chemical processes and safety practices.
- Complete environmental reporting and oversee production efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in chemistry or a related field.
- Experience in a laboratory or metal plating setting.
- Proficiency in chemical analysis techniques.
- Ability to lift 35 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Strong knowledge of plating chemistry.
