You will have the opportunity to reach your full potential as a Veterinary Technician performing all technical responsibilities to provide quality patient care with a specific focus on surgery!!
Here is What Your day May Consist of:
- Intravenous catheter placement and venipuncture
- Administer drugs (IV, SQ, Oral)
- proficiency in anesthetic protocols and monitoring
- Assists with radiographic procedures
- Perform diagnostic blood, urine, and fecal testing
- Provide care to hospitalized patients
- Manage invoicing of patients
- Client communication and education
- Admitting and discharging patients
- Schedule - 4 days a week, 10 hour shifts. Weekend on-call rotation required.
Here is What You Will Bring to the Position:
- Completion of a two-year or four-year American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) accredited program from a community college, college, or university
- License certification required
- A deep commitment to animal welfare and high-quality veterinary care.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow surgical protocols.
- A team player with a positive and professional demeanor.
