Job Overview
Adecco Healthcare & Life Science is assisting our client, an ambulatory surgical center, with recruiting a part-time Radiology Technician to join their team at their state-of-the-art medical facility in Bergen County NJ. In this role, you'll perform fluoroscopy (C-arm) procedures in the operating room and radiographic imaging in the office. You'll also be responsible for maintaining equipment, documenting procedures, and ensuring radiation safety.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct fluoroscopy (C-arm) procedures in the operating room
• Perform radiographic imaging in the office setting
• Participate in preoperative patient assessments
• Maintain and calibrate equipment, keeping detailed logs
• Manage the Radiation Quality program, working with the Radiation Physicist and Radiation Safety Officer
• Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring proper positioning and shielding
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
• A.R.R.T. certification
• Current BLS certification
• At least 6 months of related experience (2 years preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows environment

Pay Details: $40.00 to $42.00 per hour
