Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic team. As a Surgical Technologist at Advanced Surgery Center, you will play a crucial role in supporting our surgeons and ensuring a seamless and efficient surgical experience for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and organize the operating room before surgical procedures.
- Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are sterile and ready for use.
- Assist the surgical team during procedures, anticipating their needs and providing necessary support.
- Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with nurses, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Assist with patient transport and positioning.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.

- High School Diploma/GED
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is preferred.
- Prior experience in a surgical setting.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Two years experience as a Scrub Tech in multiple specialties or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Able to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Other skills and abilities: General familiarity with medical terminology as it pertains to anatomy and surgical procedures for an operating room.
