Surgical Services Assistant Nurse Manager at Clinical Management Consultants

The Surgical Services Assistant Nurse Manager will report to the Nursing Manager of Perioperative Services and will lead a tenured team of healthcare professionals at an 150+ bed medical center which has received recognition for it's excellence in quality. Supported directly by multiple Charge Nurses and a Clinical Educator the Assistant Nurse Manager will play a vital role in leading clinical operations for this department. 

The Surgical Services Assistant Nurse Manager will help lead a busy inpatient surgical department which offers procedures to treat a wide variety of cases including orthopedics, trauma and general surgery. This team of front-line caregivers, made up of Operating Room Nurses, Surgical Techs, and Board Certified Surgeons all play a vital role in ensuring this unit runs smoothly. The Surgical Services Assistant Nurse Manager will work to ensure that their team is up to date on their clinical competencies and will actively engage in clinical quality improvement tasks. This Nurse Leader will be responsible for the smooth operation of multiple operating rooms and make sure that their team is running efficiently.
