The Surgical Services Assistant Nurse Manager will join a well rounded team of health care professionals at a prestigious medical center in the Bay Area. This 150 + bed medical center is apart of a well-established health system in California and is well known for its commitment to the high quality care of their patients. This particular hospital is known for their Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center and excellence in inclusive care. 

Reporting to the Perioperative Services Director the Surgical Services Assistant Nurse Manager will lead a terrific team of seasoned health care workers. They will collaborate with exceptional surgeons and will be supported by experienced Registered Nurses and Surgical Technicians. The Nurse Leader will play a vital role in leading clinical and administrative operations for the Ambulatory Surgical Unit. This technologically advanced Surgery Unit offers state-of-the-art equipment and a broad range of surgical treatments. The Assistant Nurse Manager will oversee a busy department and be able to manage multiple operating rooms that cover a wide variety of specialties. 

The Surgical Services Assistant Nurse Manager will ensure that their staff provide high quality and cost effective care while developing and maintaining clinical standards of care. The Surgical Services Assistant Nurse Manager will also assist with staff training and new hire screening. They will take initiative by designing new processes to improve the systems that are in place to improve the efficiency of the Surgical Department.
