Position: Surgical Tech
Contract: 13 weeks with possible extensions
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (09:00 - 17:30)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: 1 Medical Plaza Dr Roseville, CA 95661

Job Summary

As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a crucial role in assisting surgical teams before, during, and after surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will include preparing the operating room, arranging surgical equipment, and ensuring a sterile environment.

Duties

• Set up surgical instruments and equipment
• Prepare patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites
• Assist the surgical team during procedures
• Maintain a sterile field throughout the operation
• Handle specimens for laboratory analysis
• Clean and restock the operating room after each procedure

Skills

• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Understanding of infection control practices
• Ability to work in an acute care setting
• Proficiency in data collection and analysis
• Experience in ICU or OR settings is advantageous

Required:
-CST
-BLS
-Acute care & trauma experience required!
-Weekends, holidays and call are mandatory.
- 1+ year exp required

Surgical Technician Full Time 40 hours weekly for 13 weeks - Day Shift hours: 0900-1730. Varied Days.
