Surgical Services Manager-RN - Doctors' Memorial Hospital

Doctors’ Memorial Hospital (DMH) is a beautiful modern facility staffed by highly trained caring individuals. DMH provides an array of technology usually only found in large cities including a 64 slice CT scanner, 1.5 MRI, digital mammography and digital ultrasound and ECHO. Other services provided at DMH include surgery, pediatrics, endoscopy, home health, nuclear medicine and physical therapy. Our specialty clinic brings physicians such as cardiologists, urologists, orthopedists, dermatologists and oncologists to Taylor County so that patients will not have to travel to surrounding cities for these services.

The Surgical Services Manager is accountable for decision making relative to the management of the Surgical Services Department including Sterile Processing, OR, PACU, Endoscopy and Outpatient Surgical Unit. The Surgical Services Manager is responsible for the following: acts as a resource person in the clinical and management setting; acts as a positive role model to ensure optimum delivery of Nursing Care Services; expected to be able to circulate all cases; expected to interact in a collegial relationship with the health care team to meet the needs of the patient, family, staff and physicians; and supports the philosophy, objectives, educational and quality improvement efforts of the hospital. The Surgical Services Manager is under the supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer.

Must have State of Florida RN license, BLS, ACLS & PALS certification
