Surgical Services Nurse Coordinator at Clinical Management Consultants

A Central California non profit Medical Center is actively seeking a Perioperative Services Nurse Coordinator.

Reporting to the Operating Room Nursing Manager for Clinical matters, and the Administrative Director of the Perioperative Service Lines for Operational matters, the Surgical Services Nurse Coordinator will play an integral role in this unit. This person will work closely with a large and diverse Surgery and PreOp/PACU Nursing Staff, serving as a liaison for Physicians and Providers, as well as Ancillary Services professionals.  

The Perioperative Services department in this hospital offers cutting-edge technology built into nearly every suite. Offering a full range of surgical services, the Surgical Services Nurse Coordinator will play an important role in keeping the 15 Surgery Suites, Endo/GI Rooms, and Hybrid Suites running smoothly. Specializing in general, orthopedic, and ENT procedures, the Coordinator will certainly enjoy the breadth of experience in the surgeons and staff that keep this department humming along. 

The RN Nurse Coordinator plans daily nursing schedules, oversees nursing activities, partakes in recruitment, monitors the professional development of staff, and ensures compliance with all regulatory standards. The RN Nurse Coordinator will also work closely with other Surgical Services clinical leaders.
