SURGICAL SERVICES SUPPLY SPECIALIST - LifeBridge Health

Position Summary: Provides assembly and preparation of scheduled case carts for O.R. cases and works under the supervision of the Sterile Processing Supervisor. Monitors par level of sterile supplies in the Operating Room and assists in room preparation and set up. Essential Functions: Assemble Assembles case carts as scheduled or as available with a 99% accuracy rate utilizing par levels and preference cards, covers case cart, attaching corresponding checklist, and transports to the OR. Tasks: Adheres to Infection Control and Quality Control regarding hair covers, transport and handling of sterile hard-wrapped goods in various types of outer packaging. Inspects the integrity of sterile packages before assembly of case cart or prior to transport. Recommends preference card changes based on location change Educational Requirements: 1-3 years of relevant work experience; Associates's degree or equivalent
