Job Posting: Surgical Technician
Location: Novi, MI
Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, Monday to Friday

• On Call: 3-5 weekends every 6 weeks (8-hour shifts) & 4-6 weekdays every 6 weeks (2-hour increments)
• Holidays: No holiday work required
  Compensation: $42 per hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician (ST) to join our team in Novi, MI. The ST will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth surgical operations by handling instruments, supplies, and equipment during various surgical procedures. This role requires expertise in understanding assigned surgeries and anticipating the needs of the surgical team to support optimal patient outcomes. The ST will also provide support related to patient preparation, transport, building services, and assist the care team with specific patient care duties to maintain safety and comfort standards.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgeries.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team throughout the procedure.
• Assist with patient preparation, including transport and support for surgical procedures.
• Respond to emergent situations following established protocols.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience: At least 1+ years of recent, relevant Surgical Technician experience.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; CAAHEP-accredited Surgical Technology program graduate preferred (not required).
• Certification: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
• Specialized Experience: Must have experience in Neuro (Spine and Brain) or Ortho (Total Joints) surgeries.
