Sugical Technician II will assists in patient care and preparation of surgical patients; performs scrub duties and related procedures; accountable for ensuring cleaning and maintenance of supplies and equipment for selected specialty.  Performs in the advanced roles of preceptor, service specialist and instrument room liaison.

Educsation and Experience Required:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical First Assistant (CST/CSFA) required as of September 1, 2010 or "grandfathered" employees  or LVN
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) with American Heart Association
• Two (2) years of experience

**Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.  This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
