Job Description​

The Surgical Technologist works within the organizational structure of the Operating Room assists in the delivery of direct primary care to the patient experiencing surgical intervention. Primary function is to assist with surgical procedures. Flexible and able to work in multiple specialties with patient safety and efficiency as priorities.

Requirements include experience with surgical cases and /or completion of a Surgical Tech program and BLS.

This position does take call and has a 30 minute call time requirement.

Position Details:

• Full-Time (40 hours per week)
• Day Shift Hours: Routine 4 days at 10hour day shifts Mon-Fri (6:45am-5:15pm)
•  6-week schedule pattern towards the end of orientation based off of the department needs.
• 1 day off per week
• Call  – with 30-minute call response time

Experience:

• Surgical Setting Experience
• experience with surgical cases and /or completion of a Surgical Tech program and BLS
