Job Title: Surgical Technologist

Location: Norman, OK

Shift Options: 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM) or 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM) shift details to be discussed during the interview.

Weekend Requirements: 6 call shifts per month

On Call Requirements: 1 full weekend per month

Salary Range: $17.39/hour - $28.40/hour (dependent on previous work experience)

Job Summary:

As an Surgical Technologist, you will assist surgeons during orthopedic and pain management procedures while ensuring a safe and aseptic environment in the Operating Room. You will be part of a dedicated, team-oriented environment with a strong emphasis on community, providing exceptional care to patients with a wide range of orthopedic needs. This includes working closely with orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians, and physical therapists to deliver outstanding orthopedic services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the surgeon during orthopedic and spine procedures.
• Maintain a sterile environment in the Operating Room, ensuring patient safety.
• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment.
• Provide support to the operating team throughout the procedure.
• Follow best practices in infection control and patient safety.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital and departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Must have completed an accredited Surgical Technology program or have five (5) consecutive years of experience as a Surgical Tech - Required
• Recent clinical experience as a CST/Surgical Tech - Required
• LPN with one (1) year of surgical tech experience - Preferred
• National Certification - Highly Preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required
• Certified Surgical Technologist certification - Required (if certified)
• Current Oklahoma LPN license (if applicable) - Required

• BLS
