Job Overview:Functions as a member of the Operating Room health care team to provide direct patient care during surgical procedures as the
"scrub" technician to assist the "circulating" nurse, maintain and prepare OR equipment, supplies, and instruments for a variety
of surgical procedures.
This position is per diem, non-exempt and benefits eligible. The pay range for this position is $31.88 - $45.00/hour. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity.
Responsibilities:- Serves as a member of the operative room team providing direct patient care during a variety of surgical procedures as scrub technician, assists circulating nurse as assigned
- Serves as a member of the operating room team in communication with team members to assess and anticipate equipment, supplies and instruments
- Participates in the maintenance, care and preparation for a variety of instruments, set systems and supplies for the Operating Room or ancillary department needs
Qualifications:
Minimum:
- Current BLS certification
Preferred:
- ORT certification
