Job Title: Surgical Technologists OB/GYN

Location: Norman, Oklahoma

Shift Notes: 0630-1700 (10-hour shifts)

On Call Requirements: 6 call shifts/month

Salary Range: $17.39/hour - $28.40/hour (dependent on previous work experience)

Job Overview:

As a Surgical Technologists OB/GYN, you will play a key role in ensuring the surgical team maintains a sterile and safe environment during procedures. You will assist the surgeon in the operating room, working alongside the team to provide the highest quality patient care. This position involves an extensive orientation with a dedicated preceptor, ensuring proficiency across all surgical service lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons during operative procedures, maintaining a sterile field and ensuring safety.
• Set up and prepare the operating room with the necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and aseptic environment throughout surgical procedures.
• Adhere to surgical standards and protocols, ensuring patient safety.
• Work closely with the surgical team to anticipate needs and support smooth operations.
• Orient and train new Surgical Technologists in various service lines.
• Participate in the call schedule, covering six call shifts per month.

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or five (5) consecutive years of experience as a Surgical Technologist Required
• Recent clinical experience as a CST/Surgical Technologist Required
• National Certification Highly Preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Required
• Certified Surgical Technologist must have current certification Required
• If applicable, a current Oklahoma LPN license Required
