General Summary:The Surplus Associate is responsible for receiving and processing assets for auction.
Responsibilities:- Receive/Sort/Process/Lot all inbound customer assets.
- Assists customers with unloading & loading of assets.
- Verify that received assets are assigned to the correct consignors/customers.
- Maintains a clean, neat and orderly work area and properly performs assigned tasks.
- Operate forklifts (if certified).
- Maintains a clean driving record in order to operate facility box truck.
- Photographs auction lots for use on our website.
- Actively participates in Safety Program activities.
- Other auction yard duties as assigned.
Education/ Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- 2+ years warehouse experience preferred
Skills:
- Certified to drive forklifts (if applicable).
- Superior attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal and customer communication skills.
- Must possess excellent organizational skills; detail-orientated with strong follow through skills.

- Familiar with and capable of operating standard office equipment (photocopier, personal computer, adding machine, stapler, 3-hole punch, etc.) and yard equipment (manual pallet jack, vehicle lift-gate, etc.
- Ability to manage and resolve conflicts with Liquidity Services’ best interest in mind.
Work Conditions/ Physical Demands:
- Must be able to work in a typical indoor/outdoor commercial yard environment all year round in Phoenix, AZ.
Location:
- Work location: Sierra Auction - 4298 N 35th Dr, Phoenix, AZ 85019.
- Candidate must be able to work 7:30 am -4 pm M-F schedule.
