Surveillance Shift Supervisor - Grave - Golden Nugget

Overview:

The Surveillance Shift Supervisor is responsible for the successful operation of the surveillance department according to gaming regulations and internal controls during assigned shift.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety and security of Employees and customers. Supervises programs and processes to reduce loss time injuries.
• Monitor, casino games, bank, cage, slots, hard count, and soft count rooms and property overall.
• Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted levels of employment. Delegate authority and assign responsibilities.
• Development and training of staff, interviews, hires, and evaluates.
• Review departmental needs for input to the budget and effective management.
• Review surveillance activities with the Director of Surveillance.
• Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Two to five years experience in security or surveillance of a high volume business or industry with a 4-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience.
• Valid gaming license.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
• Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable experience.

• Must present an image of excitement and enthusiasm, while being able to project a professional appearance and demeanor.
