The Survey Cad Technician plays a crucial role in the organization by providing technical support for land surveying and mapping projects. Key responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of survey drawings and maps using AutoCAD software.
Conduct research and gather data to support survey activities.
Utilize GIS software to create and maintain spatial databases.
Collaborate with surveyors to ensure accurate and precise land measurements and boundary determinations.
Prepare construction drawings and assist in the development of site plans.
Verify the accuracy of survey data and prepare technical documentation.
Review and interpret survey field notes and sketches.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Assist in the maintenance and calibration of survey equipment.
Contribute to the creation of survey reports and presentations.
Provide support in conducting topographic surveys and performing survey calculations.

Required qualifications
Associate degree or technical certification in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience working in a surveying or mapping environment.
Demonstrated proficiency in using AutoCAD and GIS software.
Strong understanding of land surveying principles and techniques.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, maps, and legal descriptions.
Familiarity with construction drawings and site plans.
