Survey Crew Chief // Office Surveyor or SIT (LSIT) - Gpac

Come partner with a Civil Engineering and Land Surveying firm that has been in the field for over 50 years! We are searching for career oriented Survey Crew Chief to join our growing company. You can also be a LSIT pursuing PLS, and/or an Office Surveyor.

What you will be doing as a Survey Crew Chief:

• Write descriptions of boundary surveys for use of legal documentation
• Working directly with other team members, mentoring and leading / team mentality
• Knowledge of field instrumentation is a must
• Problem solving, trouble shooting, providing a quality product
• Monitoring projects from start to finish, interacting with clients
• This is a leadership role, the opportunity to grow long term both as an individual and with a company

Survey Crew Chief Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in land surveying 
• Experience leading boundary, ALTA, topographic surveys as well as construction staking
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D preferred
• Experience using Trimble preferred
• Well-developed understanding of surveying process, start to finish
