Overview
We are seeking a highly-motivated high school or college student to join our
SUE Services Discipline in our Denver, CO office.
Colliers Engineering & Design, an affiliate of Colliers, is a trusted
provider of multi-discipline engineering, design and consulting services to
public and private sector clients. Headquartered in Holmdel, New Jersey with
70+ offices throughout the United States, we specialize in providing a
comprehensive suite of services including: civil/site, transportation,
MEP (mechanical, electrical & plumbing) engineering, architecture,
geospatial/survey, infrastructure, governmental,

Responsibilities
Assist technical staff on day-to-day projects in their respective discipline.
Transform field collected electronic files into Autodesk Civil 3D (CAD)
produced drawings.
Work with more senior staff to produce SUE, ALTA, Boundary, Topographic
Surveys, As-Built drawings, maps, Specific Purpose Surveys, Plot plans
and Subdivision Record
Plats by using Autodesk Civil 3D (CAD).
Will also work in the field on control, topographic surveys, and pipeline
surveys as Instrument Man of a one, two or three-person field crew.
May also perform some office duties, including data reduction, field note
reduction, calculations, data checks and staking computations using survey
computer programs and AutoCAD.
Performs mathematical calculations and field checking of field data.
Reads and understands plans and specifications.
Work alongside junior and senior level engineers to execute project deadlines.
Network with current Colliers Engineering & Design professionals and gain
real-life experience in consulting.
In addition to the work-centered program, we also offer robust internship
programming, which includes opportunities to work with other interns,
learn about other areas of the business, and develop valuable communication
skills and networking connections.
Qualifications
Interested or currently pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in
Civil, Land Surveying, Geomatics, CADD, Engineering Technologies.
Must have reliable transportation to the office/field.
Basic understanding of AutoCAD preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Possess solid problem-solving skills.
Must be able to work in a high-paced environment.
Strong computer literacy, to include MS Office.
Be able to carry up to forty pounds of equipment up flights of stairs.
Be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending
written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
Compensation: $14-28/HR DOQ.
