Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Survey Office Intern to join our team. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients
Duties and Responsibilities:• Assisting Registered Professional Surveyors with CAD production, survey research, boundary analysis, easement preparations, legal descriptions, and computing survey points
• Coordinate and work with field crews and other office staff
- High school diploma or GED required
- Currently enrolled in an associates or bachelor’s degree program in Surveying, Engineering Technology, or related area of study
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D for production activities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, project coordination, maintain organizational structures, and interact with other design services
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment that is in a growth mode
- Strong listening, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of ALTA surveys, boundary analysis, topographic surveys, preparation of easement documents, legal descriptions, final plat preparation, construction staking
- Full use of Microsoft Office
- Familiar with GIS processes and terminology
- Prior experience with survey field work
