About the Job
Survey / Data Technicians to work in support of large-scale infrastructure projects throughout the United States that typically require the development and execution of custom data management systems. As our Survey / Data Technician, you will help administer, process, and coordinate project field survey data daily to provide the highest quality work product to our clients quickly and efficiently.
Essential Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.
- Evaluate that all field survey tasks have been completed in accordance with client and project requirements
- Verify accuracy and completeness of field data against a strict quality assurance and quality control program
- Report deficiencies immediately to project manager, field supervisor, and survey party chiefs to be resolved quickly
- Support deed research, deed plotting, and preparation of plats and legal descriptions for right-of-way acquisition
- Proficiency in developing surface models and working with survey data within AutoCAD Civil 3D
Qualifications and Requirements
- AutoCAD drafting
- AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Trimble Business Center
- Microsoft Office applications
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School Degree Required / AAS Preferred
- Must successfully complete drug screening and background check, including 7-year criminal history check and Motor Vehicle Record check.
- Valid driver’s license required
Salary
18 - 40 /hour
