Impact Recruitment is partnered with a successful Civil Engineering and Land Surveying company seeking a Survey Party Chief in Dallas, Texas.
The Survey Party Chief is responsible for leading a field survey crew performing boundary, topography, ALTA, right of way, and construction surveys for public and private clients.

The Survey Party Chief is responsible for leading a field survey crew performing boundary, topography, ALTA, right of way, and construction surveys for public and private clients.
Responsibilities:
- The crew chief oversees the daily field operations of a survey crew
- Determine most efficient plan of action for data acquisition for field surveys ranging from primary control through construction layout and as-built surveys, as needed
- Understand and follow directions
- Proficient with documentation of work performed and sketches
- Communicate daily with Project Surveyor and technician regarding project schedule and work progress
- Interact professionally with client representative and land owners
- Read and interpret construction drawings/specifications and understand all aspects of the project specifications and tolerances
- Prepare daily reports, time sheets, and other required paperwork
- Maintain vehicle and field equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required:
- 5+ years of industry experience, prior crew chief experience is preferred
- Experience in residential, commercial, transportation, or municipal industries
- Experience with Trimble equipment is preferred
- Strong communication skills (listening, writing and verbal)
- Proven work history, strong work ethic, and team-player attitude
- Ability to travel for extended periods
- Ability to work in all-weather climates
- Ability to walk long distances through a variety of terrains and carry up to 80lbs
- Valid driver's license, clean background check and drug screening
