A. Job Responsibilities
As a Survey Technician, you will be responsible for working with layouts, lines and grades and provide assistance in a fast-paced environment.B. Job Functions

- Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Qualified applicants would possess the skills for project layout using Topcon robotic total stations. Topcon base and Rover GPS systems using Topcon MAGNET field and Topcon Pocket 3D software.
- Conduct field layouts and surveying activities.
- Establish exterior-interior grade and working lines for contractors or crafts.
- Assist in the evaluation of potential dimensions and other field problems.
- May oversee some subcontractor work activities, as assigned.
- Must be able to work at elevated heights, frequently lift materials weighing up to 70 lbs and work in outside all weather conditions.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, operating and maintenance instructions, shop drawings, procedure manuals, and safety rules.
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.

E. Education and Experience
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Three (3) years related experience preferred.
- Experience in Komatsu intelligent machine use
- Willingness and ability to travel to and from job sites.
- Concentration, alertness, and attention to detail.
- General computer operation is necessary.
