What You'll Do
- Supervise and perform functional management duties for 3-4 Logistics Project Managers (LPM) in a matrixed organization as they meet the sustainment needs of customers from initial acquisition through product retirement
- Manage logistics engineering participation in new product design activities using the LCM Workflow to ensure sustainment factors are embedded in new SRC products
- Analyze and interpret customer SOW/PWS, interpret logistics-related MIL-HDBK and MIL-STDs, and develop logistics inputs and Basis of Estimates for proposals
- Oversee development and on-time delivery of all logistics data products required by customers to operate, maintain, and sustain their SRC product
- Professionally interface with customers from US and foreign Governments and commercial agencies on current, proposed, and recommended sustainment needs, products, and services
- Prepare for and host customer reviews of technical logistics material
- Work with product and program managers to create, propose, sell, and deliver various forward-looking sustainment services that may bring value to users of SRC products
- Participate in logistics planning activities and analyses, including sustainment concept definition, spares predictions, product reliability & maintainability analyses, etc.
- Integrate activities of LCM, Depot repair, Supply Chain, Quality, Program Management, and SRC Engineering teams for overall company success in meeting needs of customers
- Provide agile vision and set direction for developing and delivering emerging methods to produce and deliver logistics products to customers
- Assess and manage staffing, budget, professional development, and other functional needs of the section
- Demonstrate exemplary leadership and teamwork within a highly collaborative team environment in both physical and virtual settings
- Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline with 10 or more years of experience, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Direct supervisory experience including duties involving work assignments, performance assessments, and related human resources activities
- Strong organizational, project management, and communications skills, with ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, flexibly shift between projects, and meet strict deadlines
- Experience with sustainment-related MIL-STDs and Handbooks for logistics tasks including product support analysis, maintainability, IETM and training material creation, reliability predictions, and similar DoD-level logistics expectations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products is expected, plus experience with Project is desired
- Some remote work is expected, but position routinely requires physical presence at SRCTec facilities in Syracuse NY
- Must be eligible for a U.S. government security clearance
- Military experience in an operations/maintenance/logistics-related career field is highly preferred
- Experience as a logistics project manager or junior program manager for a DoD contract is a definite plus
- Must be U.S. citizen

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $112,000 to $130,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
