Swing shift janitorial position for manufacturing facility - Spherion

Spherion Staffing is recruiting for a day shift janitorial position for manufacturing facility in Stead, NV.
M-F, 2pm-10:3opm. Must be able to train on day shift (6am-2:30pm) first two weeks
$18.29 per hour
Temp to hire opening

Responsibilities:
Perform cleaning and sanitation of the facility including cafeterias, break areas, bathrooms, and hallways, etc.
Clean, sanitize, and refill inventory for all plant restrooms
Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in break areas, cafeterias, bathrooms, hallways, offices & etc.
Operate cleaning systems and equipment as trained and specified (i.e. vacuums, floor scrubbers, etc.)
Help organize and maintain closets and storage areas
Prepare all cleaning solutions required for the sanitation of the facility
Properly track the use of all chemical cleaning agents, paints, and supplies that are removed from plant inventory
Responsible to accurately communicate utilization of cleaning supplies and request issuance of those consumed items via the plant established procedure
Maintain recycle bins and trash and periodic deep cleaning of office areas, break rooms, and other areas as assigned
Exterior cleaning to include along building, windows, grounds & parking lot in all weather conditions
Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
Performs other janitorial duties as required

Working hours: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Skills:
Preferred Qualifications:
6+ months of previous facilities/janitorial experience
Position Requirements:
Basic computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office)
Ability to work with limited or no supervision
Follow safe work practices per government and corporate safety standards

Education:
No Degree Required

Experience:
0-1 years

Qualifications:
Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift: kneeling, bending, and climbing required
Able to work at heights of up to 40 feet above the floor
Able to regularly lift 35 pounds without assistance
Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by company policy and procedure
Exposure to high noise level (ear protection may be required in some areas)
Exposure to high traffic areas with forklift activity
Indoor and outdoor exposure to weather
Work environment exposes to oils, lubricants, and solvents
