The recent relocation of their Southern California HQ and the subsequent process technology transfer to their new Pheonix facility brings the need for Machine Tool talent from across the state; there are multiple opportunities within Programming, Set-up, & Operation for their Mill Turn, Swiss Lathes, traditional CNC Lathes, & CNC Mills.
Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Swiss Screw Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in setting up and operating Swiss Screw machines, as well as a strong understanding of CNC machining principles. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and maintain high levels of quality and productivity.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Swiss Screw Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in setting up and operating Swiss Screw machines, as well as a strong understanding of CNC machining principles. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and maintain high levels of quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC Mills & Lathes including Swiss Screw Machines (multi-axis lathes) with minimal assistance, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Perform first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments to meet drawing requirements.
- Train and assist other team members on machine operation and best practices.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED; Trade school certification in Traditional CNC or Swiss machining is preferred.
- At least seven (7) years of advanced set-up and operation of various CNC lathe & Mills, with strong editing ability at the machine level and fundamental understanding of Mill/Lathe programming
- Minimum of 2 years of direct experience with Swiss Screw machines
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming and machine setup, with the ability to adjust feed, speed, and tool offsets to achieve desired results.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and the use of precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and perform repetitive motions.
