Title - Switch Engineer 

Location - Remote 

Type - Long Term Contract / Contract to Hire 

Day To Day Responsbilities:

• Virtually supporting the arista switches through their call systems


• The switches will show up / the vendor will plug them in and the Switch Engineer will help them certify the switches are showing up on the right V Lan and talk through any troubleshooting


• The switches are self provisioned this is more of certifying their networks and resolving any issues during setup


• Deployment of UPS - these will get plugged in, call home in the portal and show up as live or not live - this determines if the networking is communicating properly or not


• This person will help Network Engineers for installation of networks and switches 

Requirements & Must Haves:

• 
  
  Low to mid level switch engineer (3-5 years)
  
  


• 
  
  Experience and knowledge of Arista Switches 
  
  


• 
  
  Someone with great interactive and personal capabilities 
  
  


• 
  
  Someone who is levelheaded and can handle chaos 
  
  

Qualifications:

• At least 1-5+ years of troubleshooting and break fix analysis in a fast-paced environment.


• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.


• Exceptional communication and interpersonal capabilities.


• Desired experience in the following technologies: Schneider UPS, DNS, DHCP, Arista Switches, Linux Servers, NTP, Rhombus Camera, Confluence, Service Now, Jira, Written and verbal capabilities and Remote Administration
