Job description
- Responsible for Administering Cold Fusion (9 and/or 11) on Solaris (10, 11), Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, Suse)
- Installing, configuring, patching, upgrading
- Troubleshooting/diagnosing issues
- Configuring JRun connectors and J2EE
- Installing, configuring, patching, troubleshooting tomcat
- Performance tuning
- Setup Sybase, DB2, MySQL, MSSQL data sources
- Maintaining and administering Oracle iPlanet 7 on Solaris
- Installing, configuring, patching, upgrading
- Troubleshooting/diagnosing issues
- Administer and setup Apache 2.2/2.4; including installing, configuring, patching, upgrading, troubleshooting, and diagnosing issues
- Work with multi-tiered clustered environments
- Assisting onsite technical staff in migrating code from older versions of Cold Fusion to CF 11 baseline, from older Sun Solaris hardware to new T5-2 hardware
- Helping onsite staff to take advantage of opportunities that come while moving from a single service/server model to a cluster/multi-server model for redundancy and performance purposes.
