Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  
• Experience:
  
• o   Proven experience as a System Administrator in a DoD or similarly regulated environment.
  
• o   Strong experience with VMware and virtualization technologies.
  
• o   Strong experience with Windows Server administration.
  
• o   In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and system security best practices.
  
• o    Experience managing Active Directory, Group Policies, and user permissions.
  
• Technical Skills:
  
• o   Proficiency in Windows Server administration and management.
  
• o   Familiarity with SharePoint and Jira for project collaboration.
  
• o   Experience with system patching and update management.
  
• o   Understanding of DoD compliance requirements and security standards.

Job Duties:

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory and Group Policy management.
  
• Manage and optimize VMware virtualization technologies.
  
• Implement and maintain system security protocols in accordance with DoD standards.
  
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  
• Perform system patching and updates to ensure compliance and security.
  
• Administer and support SharePoint and Jira for project management and collaboration.
  
• Document system configurations, procedures, and security policies.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system functionality and security.
  
• Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in system administration.
