KBR is seeking an experienced
Systems Administrator (Secret Clearance)
to support Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) efforts related to Aviation Product Lifecycle Management (AvPLM) who will provide System Administration support for the AvPLM IPT and its customers
You will maintain IT infrastructure through installing and configuring software, monitoring and troubleshooting issues within the environments, and ensuring IT security utilizing DoD policies, in addition to other tasks
As a SA, setting up and maintaining the infrastructure will be your primary focus but you may regularly interact with other Infrastructure Administration sub-teams to support the AvPLM Cloud environments as well as a litany of supporting applications (to include Siemens Teamcenter PLM suite and eQube MI)
To support this, you will work alongside other sub-team SAs as well as members from the Applications Administration team to perform a variety of infrastructure and integration activities
This will include collaboration with the AWS GovCloud hosted system boundary for the AvPLM environments as well as use of AWS Cloud Native Services to perform normal daily duties
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform daily checks of IT systems
Triage, monitor, and work NAVAIR National Help Desk support tickets
Complete Configuration Change Control Board (CCB) requests
Perform general IT requirements, installation, configuration, maintenance, and security in an unclassified network environment for applications, databases, integrations, or infrastructure as assigned
Support Windows Server builds and have the ability to harden systems to be in compliance with DoD RMF policies
- Perform security monitoring and maintaining security patches and updates on Windows servers, using ACAS/Nessus vulnerability management to maintain compliance
Support Windows Server performance monitoring including monitoring disk space; and resource utilization, capacity and availability
Provide troubleshooting support using application/server logs and Windows logs
Coordinate outsourced help requests
Assist with coordination of Maintenance Scheduling
Assist with license and subscription management
Possess the ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Attend and contribute to Teams collaboration meetings for new requirements, troubleshooting/diagnosis, monitoring, and server side application support
Assist with documenting processes and procedures and keeping documentation updated
Provide weekend and after hours support as required
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
A bachelors degree in an IT related field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering) plus 4 years experience
OR
12 years of experience in a related field in lieu of a degree
Clearance and Citizenship:
U.S
Citizenship required
Active Secret clearance or clearance eligibility, Single Scope Background Investigation
Certification:
Security+ CE and an OS (Operating System) Certification
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience supporting the DoD community
This position offers a flexible remote working environment
Compensation:
$80,000-112,000
