Job Details Responsible for the maintenance and optimization of the Dorothy and Comfort Application with special consideration for other IT related projects. Understands Homecare and Hospice billing regulations and requirements. Knowledge of functionality of Epic Dorothy and Comfort including how to troubleshoot errors and provide recommended workflow revisions as needed. Demonstrates competency of an application systems analyst and implementation activities, including: in-depth analyses of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with the use of vendor software. Identifies issues that impact deadlines and quality of project and escalates to the Director Patient Financial Systems. Works with the Epic Resolute Hospital Billing and Claims teams to actively resolve issues and apply risk mitigation strategies. Essential Functions: In addition to the duties discussed above, responsible for the following: Supporting contact for the application including Epic Resolute Hospital Billing Projects that have a direct impact to Epic Dorothy and Comfort including additional IT projects related to the application. Serving as a bridge between Hospital Revenue Recognition Center and Digital Technology and Solutions Coordinating all issues that arise for their application area Adhering to standards for naming and numbering conventions and security classifications. Understanding choices in application specifications and prepares details of specifications as needed. Investigating the preferred choices of the users. Developing and documenting internal procedures. Collaborate with team and vendor to create and execute implementation plans. Ability to assist clinical staff in articulating and documenting processes and issues. Facilitate team in identifying and resolving system issues which have an enterprise-wide impact on the project Become knowledgeable in the organizational processes, policies, procedures and business operations as they relate to the project. Actively participate in live and post-live support. This will include training, issues management; follow up communication, application changes, etc. This requires availability to work all shifts during Go Live. Ability to leads application team meetings as needed Willing to participate in leadership project meetings. Ability to facilitate accurate communication between all involved parties. Guarantees efficient and effective completion of project assignments in accordance with standard procedures Assists facilities in meeting dynamic regulatory requirements. Ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks Works independently, across functional areas and hierarchical levels Accurate and timely recording of time against tasks assigned. Contributes to and consistently applies CHS Services’ policies, procedures and benefits to all customers and/or employees by effectively working with all customers and CHS personnel without discrimination. Plays an active role in the CHS information security awareness program by following and supporting all CHS information security policies and procedures to the best of their ability. This will include reporting any suspected fraud, abuse, or violation of policy to the appropriate management or reporting mechanism. Functional Abilities (including but not limited to): Excellent interpersonal skills required for day-to-day interaction with entity clinical department management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Specific clinical knowledge and experience that will enable the self-confidence to carry out responsibilities and interaction with co workers in a professional manner. Willingness to travel from entity to entity. Willingness to attend training classes- out of state requiring overnight travel over multiple days Environment is subject to high-level visibility through verbal and written communications with senior hospital management, associated project deadlines. Ability to exercise independent judgment and maintain confidentiality of material and information Ability to function effectively in a fast paced environment and meet goals of timeliness and quality Must be available for on-call support on a regular basis. Due to project requirements, overtime will be required as needed. Education, Training, and Experience: Must have a Bachelors and at least 3 years experience in a progressive IT role. Working knowledge of policies, procedures, and business operations. Proficient in Microsoft office, Microsoft Project, Visio Demonstrated ability to manage to deadlines, changing priorities Strong project management skills (ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issues list, manage project plan). Strong communication and follow-up skills. Detail oriented and knack for probing for information in order to fully understand the underlying needs that drive how the system should be built. Strong problem-solving abilities; excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Independent and self-motivated, energetic with strong desire to learn. Epic certified or must attend and complete Epic certification – requires week long out of state travel for each course required for certification (minimum two courses) Salary Range USD $97,500.00 - USD $125,000.00 /Yr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
