System architect is responsible for designing and overseeing the architecture of complex systems and solutions. This includes defining system requirements, creating architectural designs, and ensuring the integrity and functionality of the system throughout its lifecycle. Aligning Technology strategy with business goals has become paramount, and a System Architect plays a pivotal role in shaping an organization's technology infrastructure and ensuring that it meets the business's current and future needs. Responsible for the design, performance, security, and scalability of systems, making their role essential for successful IT projects and overall business success.
Essential Duties:
- Develop and maintain high-level and low-level architectural designs for complex systems, ensuring they align with organizational goals and requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts and end-users, to gather and analyze system requirements. Translate these requirements into architectural solutions.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies and tools to ensure the selection of the most suitable technology stack for system development.
- Design systems that can scale to meet growing demands and ensure optimal performance under various load conditions.
- Implement security measures and best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure system security compliance.
- Create comprehensive documentation for architectural designs, system configurations, and best practices to guide development teams and support ongoing maintenance.
- Establish quality standards and conduct architectural reviews to ensure that systems meet design specifications and adhere to best practices.
- Provide expert-level support for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to system architecture.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices and provide recommendations for improvements and optimizations to existing systems. Analyzes and documents detailed specifications of current digital infrastructure used within the company
- Works with vendors to define optimal infrastructure architecture and hardware/networking requirements
- Applies technical knowledge to develop clear and standard work instructions
- Documents configuration changes with associated test cases and performs functional validation.
- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications: Requirements - Required and/or Preferred
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including the proven ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment and manage multiple projects.
- A global perspective with the ability to understand and work effectively in a culturally diverse organization.
- Must possess good understanding of general functions of the system components.
- Strong knowledge of software and hardware architecture principles.
- Proficiency in various programming languages, database management systems, and cloud technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Certification in relevant technologies or architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) is a plus.
Education:
- Basic/Required: Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative field (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, etc.). Masters degree preferred.

Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4+ years of professional or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with IT network and hardware requirements
- Experience developing IT and cloud infrastructure
- Experience in software engineering and design architecture
- Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and processes
- Professional experience working with and analyzing computer hardware and software
- Strong analytic and decision-making abilities. Able to influence others to move towards a common goal
- A strong team player who can work closely with multiple functional groups in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivation and resourcefulness
- Able to manage multiple concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment, effectively prioritize work, and deliver quality results
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required, ability to describe technical theory to technical and non-technical audience
