Position Summary:
We are seeking an System Technician - Instrument Qualification to join our multi-disciplinary team, which is tasked to maintain a world-class fully automated instrument system for high precision proteomic analysis. The candidate is expected to work in close collaboration with various teams and responsible for maintaining and assisting all aspects of the system including hardware, software, and consumables.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Perform instrument qualification protocols on ARGO HT instrument. Collect data and transfer it into a database.
- Perform calibration of ARGO HT instrument using prescribed fixtures and work instructions.
- Operate inspection equipment and generate engineering inspection reports.
- Maintain calibration, maintenance, and repair records for laboratory equipment.
- Perform QC testing on existing and new products as needed.
- Improve technical procedures by participating in method development and validation of new systems and processes.
- Help support and improve existing high throughput laboratory automation systems.
Requirements include:
- A Technical Associate degree is preferred, or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates required skills.
- A minimum of 1 years' experience as a technician
- Comfortable using lab equipment such as pipettes, centrifuge, etc.
- Proven skills in testing and/or operation of electromechanical systems, including collection of test or operation data are desired.
- Be detailed oriented and able to follow detailed work instructions
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Self-motivation with a positive "can do" attitude and attention to details
- Be able to lift 50 lbs.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000 - $90,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The ranges displayed on each job posting reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries but are subject to change if the leveling of the role is adjusted.
