Position:  Systems Administrator
Location:  Merritt Island, FL
Duration :  3-6 month CTH
Rate Range?:  $40-45/hr
 
Position Overview:  
Apex Systems is working with an aerospace client who is needing to hire a Systems Administrator to support the IT operations of their manufacturing facility.
Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:  
System Admin who will need to do patching services and servers, working with security to identify security patches. Support developing processes and runbooks.
Selling Points for Candidates:  
-Working for a large aerospace company
Requirements:  
1. 5 years of systems administrator with at least 1-2 years of that experience working with Linux. Could flex to 3 years with the right passion – someone who is hungry, open to learning. Still would want the hard 1-2 years of Linux experience though.
2. Great communication skills
4. Must be able to obtain a security clearance. However, a security clearance isn’t required from the start.
Plusses:
1.  MS365 – managing users.
2.  AWS experience
3.  Knowledge of  NIST 800-171 or worked/familiar with framework. Lived in this work, but doesn’t have to had develop it.
4.  Red Hat Certified Systems Admininstrator
