Summery
The Systems Administrator(SA) maintains all critical IT Infrastructure. The role provides Tier 2 and Tier 3 support to the Helpdesk. The SA provides support for Active Directory, Exchange email, file and system backups, and all types of data storage. The SA is responsible for the entire Windows server environment, both physical and virtual (VMWare vSphere 5.5). The SA is also charged with maintaining the mobile
device environment which includes support for Blackberry devices, iPhones, and iPads.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Build, configure, and maintain the Windows Server environment including Active 35%
Directory and all of its components. This includes the VMWare vSphere virtual
environment.
2. Provide support for the MS Exchange 2010 email environment 15%
3. Provides support for all mobile devices (Blackberry, iPhone, and iPad) 10%
4. Manages group membership and distribution lists for the Enterprise within Active Directory 10%
5. Provide escalation support to the Helpdesk 10%
6. Maintain the integrity of data within the Enterprise consisting of ensuring data is 15% backed up and the various types of data storage are running optimally
