About the Job
Full Spectrum Operations LLC (FSO) is a SDVOSB JV between American Communication Solutions LLC, an SBA VetCert verified SDVOSB, and By Light Professional IT Services LLC (By Light). FSO is looking for personnel to support the Regional Network Enterprise Center (RNEC) Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE), Virginia, Local Network Enterprise Center (LNEC) Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia, and Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek Fort Story (JEBLCFS), Virginia, with classified and unclassified communication systems support. Personnel will provide Site Management, Infrastructure Operation and Maintenance (O&M) – Unified Communications, Inside Plant (ISP), Customer Service Telephone, Outside Plant (Cable) (OSP), Battery Maintenance, Cable Locates; Systems Management – Mission Server, Automation and Network Support, Cybersecurity, and Tier II Customer Support; Land Mobile Radio; and Configuration Management support. Work is on site and core duty hours are 0700 – 1700, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays. All personnel will work an 8-hour workday.
Responsibilities:- Provide systems management of the customer Telecommunications systems.
- Perform upgrades, as well as system-wide and infrastructure additions, moves, or changes.
- Perform planning and integration of new technologies, and upgrades/modernization.
- Supports systems management tasks to include items such as, software configuration and distribution, hardware and component installs, configurations, and the maintenance of system components with approved enhancements, upgrades, and/or service updates.
- Supports legacy, current, and new systems (future) at various lifecycle stages.
- Performs Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) patches on all servers and test and verify system is not adversely affected by patch.
- Perform security checklists on operating systems and system backups for each server.
- Monitor system logs, security logs, and application logs and report abnormal events.
- Provide local touch labor (troubleshooting, repairing, Factory Reset, firmware updates, etc.).
- Draft and maintain SOP documents for the functional category.
- Perform Daily Service Validations in accordance with customer standing operating procedures.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Education: Possess a associate’s degree or higher.
- Minimum of three years’ experience supporting Microsoft server requirements.
- Experienced with Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Products.
- Fluent in the spoken and written English language, to include the usage of technical terms commonly used in information technology (IT), network routing and switching, telecommunications, IT maintenance, and technical control facilities.
- Foundational Personnel Certification: CompTIA Security+ or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or CyberSec First Responder (CFR) or CompTIA Cloud+ or Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) or Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) or GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC).
- Foundational Qualification (Experience) – Possess an Intermediate Proficiency level with 70% of the KSA associated with the DCWF workforce role – Systems Administrator – Work Role ID: 451.
- Residential Qualification (Certifications) – Microsoft Windows Server; Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate.
- Supported the U.S. Army or other DoD Agency.
- Has the communication skills to effectively interface with senior military officials, managers, and subordinates.
