About the Role:
Gateway is hiring a Systems Administrator to lead our enterprise information technology initiatives, support our internal users, and implement information technology best practices in support of our goal of adding 100,000 residential & business passings per year. The Systems Administrator is expected to contribute in the following significant ways:
Manage and ensure the stability of Gateway’s server environment.
Assist with Gateway’s Azure Active directory and user maintenance process (creating, updating, terminating, etc.).
Offer support services to end users for their daily technical needs.
Assist in the monitoring and resolution of alerts and tickets.
Administer applications and maintain security and functionality.
Contribute to technical project initiatives as assigned.
What you’ll bring to the table:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field / equivalent experience.
Robust and proven knowledge of computer systems, security, network administration, and databases and data storage systems.
Ability to think critically and make effective decisions.
Current knowledge of IT infrastructure operations and best practices.
4 years of experience working in IT operations.
Experience with adherence to documentation policies.
Understanding of Remote Monitoring and Management systems.
Microsoft cloud environment administration including Entra ID, Exchange, Sharepoint, Intune, and Security Center.
Microsoft Azure Virtual Machine, Network, and Storage Administration.
Windows Server Administration.
VMWare ESXi/vCenter Administration.
