Systems Administrator
Responsibilities:
- Maintain efficient operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers.
- Manage system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.
- Perform systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.
- Set up administrator accounts, maintain system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
- Develop and monitor standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
Qualifications
5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
