Systems Administrator - SSP

Title: System Administrator
Location: Jamesburg, NJ

Responsibilities include Change control, Application support and SOX support

• Install/update applications changes as needed which may include running patch scripts to deploy binary and configuration changes.
• Support the application teams with activities like patching and clean up tasks like purging or weekend reboot of applications.
• Deploy code base for a number of systems following department policy.
• Perform admin tasks like creating users and supporting access issues.
• Create and maintain environment layout documentation.
• Create and maintain automated/scheduled tasks.
• Support and comply with associated SOX standards and procedures.
• SDLC Change Control and Deployment policies and best practices around code migration.

Ideal candidate required should have at least 3 plus years :

• Experience with administrating WMS / COTS systems.
• Experience with managing scheduled jobs.
• Worked with change control tools and automated scripts to deploy code.
• Basic experience with shell scripting (bash/korn), SQL and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).

Nice to have:

• Experience with Tecsys WMS, Autosys, Jenkins, GitHub
