It is the contract vehicle for the Enterprise Infrastructure Services organization overseeing MPO’s Enterprise Information Technology (EIT). EIT is MPO’s backbone- platform for all Enterprise users. Data Center & Compute Services is the EIS enabling organization working with customers, Integrated Product Teams (IPT), and vendors to deliver select EIT.
Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Administrator to join our team in Laurel, MD.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manages the project work as defined by the government.
- Performs as a consultant in highly specialized. Leading edge information technologies and methodologies.
- Provides highly technical and specialized guidance concerning automated solutions to complex information processing problems.
- Performs elaborate analyses and studies.
- Provide support for the patching systems and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
- Leads the medium to large complex projects and major phases of very larger projects.
- Provides highly technical and specialized guidance and solutions to complex IT problems.
- Working with team members to build applications for customers.
Must be able to work at late during patching days and cover a 6am-6pm shift.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school/GED with twenty (20) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Associate degree with fifteen (15) years of relevant experience. Bachelor’s degree with twelve (12) years of relevant experience.
- LINUX scripting experience
- Must be a US Citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
- Windows and VMware experience preferred
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate must be able to move, carry and deliver workstations from inside the office to customer’s desk. The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
